You know it's October when you turn on the TV and see horror movies featured on multiple channels. Few holidays are as intertwined with a major genre of entertainment as Halloween is with horror. From Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 classic Psycho, to Jordan Peele's 2019 thriller Us, a recent YouGov poll asks what Americans think of 35 popular horror movies. While each movie asked about is highly rated, the critically-acclaimed 1992 psychological horror film The Silence of the Lambs is the only one to place close to the top of the list by two different ways of ranking the films.

As The Challenge: Ride or Dies season has seen more teams eliminated from the game, it’s made things difficult for competitors to choose teams to go into The Zone. That led to some uncomfortable moments for recent daily challenge winners Jay Starrett and Michele Fitzgerald after they had to choose veteran cast members as potential elimination teams. They put Laurel Stucky and Jakk Maddox into The Zone for two-straight episodes and had to face them during the interrogation.

CBS has a tiger by the tail with Ghosts, an adapted comedy from Britain that fires on all cylinders thanks to intelligent and funny writing and a cast that seamlessly works magic with their respective characters.  A significant part of the success hinges on the performance of Asher Grodman, cast as Trevor Lefkowitz, the most recently deceased of the ghosts. Trevor is a hard-partying Wall Street trader whose sudden heart attack in 2000 occurred while he was not wearing pants.
